Meet Aji Fatou

I’m Aji Fatou, your chef and the founder of Chin-Kumba, a proudly Gambian-owned catering business based in Leeds, West Yorkshire, established in 2003.

My journey in the culinary world began at a young age, with food being an integral part of my identity. Starting with private catering for family and friends, I gradually expanded my experience in the hospitality industry. As my skills and confidence grew, I began catering for larger events such as weddings, ceremonies, and gala nights.

Cooking is the culmination of my passion for food, extensive experience, and qualifications in catering and event management. Our flexible approach allows us to travel to different locations, meeting our clients’ catering needs wherever they may be.
